Jacalyn Kane Productions brings over 20 years of experience and creative passion to produce flawlessly executed special events, concerts and festivals for the entertainment, corporate, and non-profit communities. As past clients state, their events "have never been more professionally arranged" than under the direction of Jacalyn Kane, president and founder of the company. Jacalyn’s innovative team performs all aspects of event production from concept to completion, including production management, design, scenic production, vendor relations, talent and contract/bookings & negotiations, technical services and promotions.

Among her specialties, Jacalyn Kane offers extensive experience as a fundraising consultant and producer for large-scale music festivals, performing art center concerts, and dynamic award shows. With the formation of Kane Productions, she has proven her powers to "create magic while managing people and dollars with great finesse." Her credits include the presentation of Natalie Cole for the Grand Opening of the Granada in Santa Barbara, creation of the Whole Earth Festival, Los Angeles with Whole Foods Market as her title sponsor, The Boston Pops Benefit Concert for The Martha's Vineyard Hospital, the production of The Annual Topanga Days County Fair, The City of Los Angeles Pershing Square Concerts in the Park, and three years of directing and producing the First American In The Arts Awards Ceremony.

From 2001-2003 Kane Productions proved its reputation for creative and technical prowess in directing and producing the Annual First Americans In The Arts Awards (The Native American Film & TV Awards). Starting with her client's initial vision, the Kane Production team carried out all aspects of production and coordination to bring the event to life with seamless perfection. Kane Productions coordinated everything from talent and set design to live IMAG video presentations, lights, and sound.

JACALYN KANE


Jacalyn Kane’s career as a socially progressive concert and special events producer began over twenty years ago. After joining the advance and scheduling team on Senator Ted Kennedy’s 1980 run for President, at 19, she went on to produce the documentary, Kennedy '80, a case study in media and political use and abuse. Following graduation from Emerson College in Boston, with a Bachelor of Science degree, she launched her career as a producer of benefits & special events. In 1986 she created the legendary Martha's Vineyard Peace Concert featuring The Band, Jesse Colin Young & Carly Simon. Ever since, Ms. Kane has focused her creative passions on producing; concerts with top name talent, large-scale music festivals, dynamic award shows, PSA’s and documentaries.

Her credits include three years of producing & directing The Native American Film & TV Awards, The Boston Pops Benefit Concert on Martha's Vineyard (which brought the hospital out of bankruptcy), three transformational years of the annual Topanga Days Country Fair (placing it squarely on the map as one of the ‘best bohemian bashes in southern California’), the creation and production of the Whole Earth Festival, LA, plus the presentation of concerts and special events with numerous artists such as Stephen Stills, Leon Russell, Judy Collins, Kris Kristofferson, Dwight Yoakum, Jackson Browne, Carly Simon, Tito Puente, Marc Anthony and Ruben Blades.

Ms. Kane has also produced benefit events and documentaries on AIDS awareness and nuclear disarmament working with such high profile talent as Jane Fonda, Joanne Woodward, Meryl Streep, Sally Field & Senator John Kerry. In 2003 she formed StandUpNow.org, to produce commercials that speak out on socially conscious issues. Since 2003, Ms. Kane has been heard regularly on national radio interviews educating the public about pressing issues of our times. As her schedule allows she continues to donate her expertise to benefits promoting education, peace & justice.
